According to the Dallas Star-Telegram, the Detroit Lions have received permission from the Dallas Cowboys on to interview assistant head coach/offensive coordinator Jason Garrett for their head coaching vacancy. Garrett was pegged as one of the up and coming coaching prospects last year, but that talk has quieted down a bit after this year's Dallas Cowboys offense failed to live up to expectations.
