After the most recent Lions defeat at the hands of the Carolina Panthers, Lions Head Coach Rod Marinelli was quoted as saying “Have we failed? Yes. Have I failed? Yes. Am I going to give up? No way. Am I discouraged? No way. I’m not, and you can ask me that until the cows come home. You’re going to get the exact same answer.”My question is "Rod, if you aren't discouraged after winning exactly zero games in ten attempts, what are you? Happy? Hopeful? Retarded?" My guess would be the latter.
